SABIC AN Collaboratives with BiOWiSH Technologies and ADM to Support Sustainable Agriculture

SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company (SABIC AN) is collaborating with BiOWiSH Technologies and ADM, to help farmers achieve higher production in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. Focusing on a 50,000-acre pilot project, farmers in the midwestern United States will use SABIC AN’s Bio-Enhanced Urea and sign up for the ADM re:generations program.

When it comes to the environment and climate-change initiatives, the agriculture and fertilizer industries are under significant pressure to reduce volatilization, greenhouse gas emissions, leaching and eutrophication. BiOWiSH Technologies is working with leading fertilizer companies around the globe to refine traditional fertilizer product-lines with new products enhanced with our biological microorganisms.

The goal—to help farmers achieve higher production per acre in a way that is sustainable, economical, and reduces the carbon footprint in the agricultural supply chain.

Supported by Pond Foundation’s team, BiOWiSH will determine its Lifetime Carbon Balance (LCB), invest in carbon sequestration programs, and implement emissions reduction initiatives.

Forging a new future for sustainable farming practices, we are partnering with ADM to bring real climate-smart solutions to growers that are simple to implement while also providing supplemental revenue streams.

It’s easy! Use BiOWiSH^® Enhanced Fertilizer on an eligible 2024 crop and improve your Carbon Intensity Score to earn an additional $2 per acre. The enrollment and data collection process takes approximately one hour to complete.

1. Use Bio-Enhanced Fertilizer Powered by BiOWiSH^® as a climate-smart practice.

2. Sign up for BiOWiSH^® Program through ADM re:generations.

3. Receive monetary compensation upon completion of the program from ADM.

BIOWISH^® IMPROVES PROFIT FOR NITROGEN OPTIMIZED FERTILITY PROGRAM IN THIS STUDY

BiOWiSH Technologies engaged Precision Study Management to conduct a study to determine the effects of BiOWiSH® Crop Liquid coated onto urea, as part of a standard fertility program and an N Optimized fertility program, compared to the Control. Even with a 10% reduction in fertilizer for the N Optimized Fertility Program, the BiOWiSH® treatment out-performed the Control with a $27 USD/acre profit advantage, for this corn research study in Northern Texas.
